The International Business and Management Studies course (IBMS) is the other major of the institute for Marketing Management. Its main emphasis is on issues and challenges in the field of International Marketing and Management. One of the main differences with the Marketing Management course is the entire international focus of the study; The course is given entirely in English and students are obligated to study a second foreign language, next to English. Students also have to follow a Business Placement abroad.
During the course the students learn to deal with problems such as:
- How to launch a product on a foreign market;
- How to organise the company's international activities;
- How to react to and prepare for changes in the political, economic and legal environment;
- How to use the Internet in E-business activities;
- How to plan and control the financial resources for international activities.
