	The first year of the International Business and Management Studies programme is a foundation year. In this first year the students get a sound basis in several economic subjects and learn to master the principles of project-based learning. The main phase of the course consists of three years. Each year is divided into two semesters and each semester consists of two nine-week periods. During each period the students execute a project, study for a written exam, are trained in their professional and personal skills and take an intensive foreign language course.

The second study year consists of the 3^rd and 4^th semester. The students have to work on four projects. For more detailed information on the projects, click on one of the links in the overview table below.

In the 5^th semester the students have to be trained on the job with a so called Introductory placement.

During semester 6 and 7, the students also follow four themes.

In the 8^th semester, students do their graduation placement (17 weeks) in which the student must proof that he or she is able to formulate a commercial strategy for a certain company based on self-performed research and analysis.
